Grass Roots June/July Edition

June 4, 2012 @ 22:10 By Gavin Webber 3 Comments

Just a quick one today, as I am working feverishly on my first eBook.  The folks over at Grass Roots Magazine kindly published a story I wrote about how I built my Clay Cob Oven.  It appears on page 22 and has some photos in the story that are until now previously unpublished.

But don’t just rush out and buy it for my story ;-).  The magazine is full of great sustainable living articles and tips.  I love reading each and every article on a Sunday morning over coffee overlooking the veggie patch.  It is truly one of life’s little pleasures.

    Well done, Gav!

My local library gets Grass Roots, and I love bringing one home to read on a weekend.

Not sure if this post is okay here.

I am 82 and my wife is 80.
We used to live on five acres and were nearly self sufficient for 20 years.
Alco bought us out, at market value, in order to mine the area.
We enjoyed the amenities of Mandurah where we now reside, but miss the five acres.
We would love to find a community where we could fit in.
