Peace on Earth and Joy to All!

December 25, 2013 @ 11:00 By Gavin Webber 4 Comments

To all my friends and readers on this day of festive days, Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas.

I hope you are enjoying a relaxing day, and spending time with your family and friends.

Here at home we are on our staycation, and are spending it by the pool, enjoying an early morning swim and relaxing with a Bucks Fizz or two.

All the packaging (what little there was) has been recycled or put away for reuse, and thoughtful presents treasured.

Christmas dinner is in the oven.  Roast organic chicken, roasted home grown potatoes, carrots, and onions, steamed rainbow chard, broad beans, and peas.  Topped with homemade yorkshire puddings with lashings of pan juice gravy.  The smell is divine and it fills the entire house.

After eating that lot, I might even have a nana nap this afternoon!  I think I deserve it 😉

Thank you all very much for reading the blog during the year.  It was fun and exciting, and there are many more stories and adventures to come.

Peace and Joy to all.

Gavin, Kim and Family xox

Grooooowwwwwwwnnn…. I ate too much (as usual) and after the cleanup today, i too feel a nanna nap coming on. Im looking at the left overs and dreaming up recipes for roast lamb curry or lamb fritters. Contemplating running down and grabbing a few stuffed turkey rolls to freeze for during the year while they are selling them off half price. Rest up Gav, there is a new year coming with many adventures to take and share…

We have been living on leftovers for the last few days. So glad that nothing gets wasted around here.

See you in the new year Lynda!
