A Green Holiday To One and All!

December 25, 2012 @ 07:30 By Gavin Webber 12 Comments

A very Merry Christmas to all my readers!

May you all have a very green Christmas ( or whatever festival you celebrate this time of year) and a sustainable New Year.

I am taking a bloggy break for a few days, so have a read through the archives to get your dose of festive greening.  There are over 1250 posts in all to read and digest, which I know you will enjoy.

All the best to you and your families.

Gavin, Kim, Ben, dogs and chooks!

Thanks Steve, you are welcome. Many more great posts to come in the New Year. I have been thinking about my goals for 2013, which are still not quite formulated. Will post them in a few days.

Many thanks for your interesting and thought provoking blog this last year. If only I’d known exactly where you were we’d have visited you last January.
Archery is still going well. Have you made any progress this year?
Hope you have had an enjoyable Christmas and I wish you and your family a Happy New Year.
Won’t be able to follow you much over the next three months as we leave for a ten week trip round New Zealand shortly. Will think of you however when we are spending overnight (change of planes) in Melbourne Airport.

A very merry Christmas and happy new year to you Gavin. I often get a bit bah humbug over Christmas with all the consumerism. But this year I saw a lot of self-sufficiency inspiring gifts being given. Did you give homemade cheese?

Happy New Year to you too Jason, and to your family.

I am a bit like that too, dislike the consumerism, but love home made gifts.

I did make Feta a few days before Christmas, and we had a cheese platter with a few other of my cheeses Christmas night. It was delicious, but none given away as gifts. Unfortunately, due to all the workshops I have been teaching, I have let my own cheese making slip away a little.
