Regular readers would know about Little Green Workshops and all the great sustainable living products that Kim and I sell on that site. Kits and supplies to create and make other cool things like your own soap, cheese and candles.
However, if we were to grow to a sustainable size, in the hope that I can eventually leave my day job, we need to have greater visibility, and I didn’t want to bombard you here anymore on this blog because that’s not what you come here for.
You come here for green stuff and projects and all that cool stuff we get up to.
So, I figured that if I wanted to promote our small business, it was only logical that we would have to advertise elsewhere. Now, I don’t like advertising at the best of times and thought it hypocritical that we would have to publish our own ads. Besides, I would rather give our advertising budget to people who I care about. People like fellow bloggers that read and follow our work.
Additionally, Kim and I were sick of paying a small fortune on Google search ads, and saw no value in Facebook advertising. So what was I to do?
Well, after a lot of research I found that there was software available to create an affiliate program for Little Green Workshops. So that is exactly what I did. I installed and configured it to create a method for people to apply to become an affiliate, and in the process (when approved), they earn a generous 10% commission on each sale they refer to us using a special link.
There’s no catch, nothing dishonest, and certain no tricks with this type of marketing. In fact, I liken it to doing someone a favour, but getting paid for it in return, especially if they like the products we sell and agree with our values.
So if you reside in Australia and have a sustainable living/simple living/minimalist/homesteading blog or Facebook page and want to earn some money, then please feel free to sign up (it’s free, and you earn money) using this link;
http://www.littlegreenworkshops.com.au/affiliate-area/
To assist in promotion, I have created banners and ad squares, which you can use on your site as well to help with promotion (they’re called creatives). If anyone needs other sizes, or images for specific products, then please let me know via the contact page on LGW.
You can also create links to any individual product if you want to share. You can even send your affiliate link to friends via email or any social media network.
Affiliates can track their commissions and referrals in the affiliate area. Affiliates will get monthly after the last day of the calendar month and before the 3rd day of the new month. Payment will be made at this time if their account reaches $50 or higher. Payments will be processed via PayPal.
Happy to answer any questions that anyone may have or if you need more information. Also, If you know of anyone with a blog that may be interested, please share this post with them.
So if you want to make a bit of cash without any guilt or too much effort, sign up for the Little Green Workshops Affiliate Program. I believe it’s win-win all around!

I love the way you think things through so thoroughly Gavin. Affiliate links have never worked for me before, but I really do think you are worth supporting so might give it a go.

I’m very new to the blogging world but I’d like to help out because I already know and use your blog and products. I’m happy to try and drive customers in your direction (however few they may be at this point).
