Who loves their daily cup of coffee? I know that I do! But instead of brewing it up in you K-cup machine, or grabbing that takeaway in a styrofoam cup, think again. There are better and less harmful ways of having your morning cup of coffee.
I’m taking about brewing, coffee cups, coffee grounds, and alternatives to coffee.
Join me for an interesting show just about the environmental impact of your coffee, or tea for that matter.

Hi Gavin, just to let you know I’m sitting here in my office with my plunger, and my container with the used coffe grounds (I go through a plunger a day!). Thanks for the info re carbon vs nitrogen, need that in my new Aerobin 400! Cheers, Kimberley

I do have a morning coffee on the way to work and its become a social event whereby we know each other. A meeting of friends. Unfortunately, they will not let me use my own cup. They also store their coffee grounds and hand over bags of the stuff for my garden. Not having time i just threw the bags onto a veggie bed. I had put a drainage hole in the bottom to release the moisture so it wouldnt go mouldy. When i picked it up last Sunday it was not only feeding a gazillion worms underneath but they had crawled up through the hole and into the coffee grounds. They were literally living in it.
