Lamp Post Garden Complete

July 20, 2014 @ 21:39 By Gavin Webber 8 Comments

Whilst I was making some more wooden soap moulds for our upcoming soap making workshops, Kim completed the lamp-post garden makeover.

I helped put in the wooden edging and reinforced it with screws, extra wood and stakes so that it wouldn’t move with a bit of weight behind it, but other than that, all the work and beautification was her hard graft.

It is such a great little nook to relax in.  Teddy can’t get enough of it!

It cost us about $100 in pavers and a few more pots and plants, but other than that, we had all the other materials.

Not bad for a few hours work.  Kim is really enjoying gardening.  Maybe she caught my gardening bug.

We all love this new space!

Kudos to Kim for turning an unused part of the yard into something very useful for a very low-cost.  The wow factor when you walk through our gate has just increase ten fold!

The perfect place to have a cuppa in the morning.

Bravo darling.  Bravo.

What do you think of Kim’s handy work?

Love, Love, Love it. Kudos for Kim making it so beautiful. She is certainly one very talented lady when it comes to decorating and design. Im waiting for her to start those workshops on making craft items like her painted candle holders and Oh, and especially her Christmas decorations. I must say that your fur babies are just the cutest (especially Teddy – sorry i know having favorites is wrong).

Yes, she certainly does have a talent for that sort of thing. It complements my practicality, I suppose.

We love both the fur kids equally. Holly is my little princess, and Teddy is Kims little man!
