Seven News – Help to Reduce Your Cost of Living

March 11, 2014 @ 06:00 By Gavin Webber 19 Comments

West garden featuring solar panels

For those who missed it, including all my international readers, here is the 1 min 48 second news spot I had on the telly last night.

You can read the article they wrote here; http://au.news.yahoo.com/vic/a/21907658/help-to-reduce-your-cost-of-living/

I had a great time during the interview, which actually went for about 50 minutes, and there was a full tour of the garden as well that took about another hour.  Not to worry that they didn’t show more, as they did capture the essence of how we live.

So, enjoy the video!

    Hi Gav,
that was super! Hopefully the message will reach many more people. I think the mention of speeding up the mortgage will get many inspired to give it a go – well done 🙂

Thanks Madeleine. I do think that was a good idea to pitch it at the money savings side of things.

Awesome! I always worry about how journos will cut and paste together but I think they’ve put together a great news spot which will attract many people to giving it a go. Well done you and well done Channel 7 too. 🙂

Well Jessie, that is something I have yet to encounter. All the journos I have met are nice people, trying to tell an honest story. Jackie Quist was a very nice lady.

I suppose it does matter what you say in their company of course.XD

I missed it on the night (I don’t watch commercial TV), so thanks for repeating it here. Awesome! So pleased for you and all of us trying to spread the message. They couldn’t have picked a better Greenie! Nothing about making cheese! We’ve gotta push for a full-scale GoG documentary!
