How wonderful – I’ve just found your blog – will take me a while to catch up = love the leeks – we had a chap into work (garden class) who swore by letting them flower a bit – then cut the flowers a little bit off – the plant then chucks out about a million little clone leeks on the flowerhead which can be planted as baby leeks for your tea after you take care of them a bit – brilliant way to have ‘free’ leeks and very, um, green. You could have baby leeks from both of you!!
