Big Oil Is Persistent

July 3, 2009 @ 22:16 By Gavin Webber 1 Comment

Well, if anything Exxon Mobil are persistently consistent.  In recent years this Oil giant has vowed that it would cease funding climate change lobby groups that publish misleading and inaccurate information about climate change.  Have a listen to this report from Radio Australia titled “Oil giant funded climate change denial: academics”.  It should open in your media player.

I found it very interesting, especially the link between Exxon Mobil funding and our own Senator Steve Fielding’s recent trip to the US.  Remarkable how the truth can always get distorted when there are these vested interests funding such lies!

I also love the site DESMOGBLOG.COM which gives you the lowdown on all of these types of vested interest groups and their dispicable actions.  Have a browse.  You will learn quite a bit about these lowlife companies.

Hi Gavin, most of the time accurate information doesn’t reach the public. Those that do the study as well as those that report the results of the study are sometimes biased. We in http://climatarians.org also don’t always hear the truth. But we always hear what other people want us to hear. Right from the news media to research groups, opinions are biased.

Take it with a pinch of salt.
