I think Glamping is Crap

November 14, 2008 @ 04:00 By Gavin Webber 4 Comments

Here is the latest from ZapRoot. I just had to post it because I love Apple now that they are green, and I like roughing it when camping like normal people. Just me, the tent and a very small camp fire and the wide open doors. NOTHING ELSE. No massages, or spas, or plasma TV’s, no pampering, or luxury queen size beds. We are supposed to be roughing it people! Get real. I love this segment.

Enjoy!

Oh, I don’t know Gavin. I was quite enjoying that until they told me it was 700 bucks a day! (Only joking…)

I Just HAVE TO HAVE some grass jewelry…NOT!

    *sigh*

I can’t believe the crap people will buy!

Thanks for that, Gavin! Made me laugh. And now I’m off to the beach for a FREE, environmentally-friendly afternoon with the kids!

    Cheers.

Yes, great zaproot review. However, to experience the outdoors, who says we need to rough it? Glamping in a sense is to get people to get outdoors, and get a dose of nature. Sure, can be a bit flash, but it serves a conduit for those who ordinaryily whould never get outdoors. Once they have experienced it, good likelyhood they my want to get their hands dirty, and rough it one day….common denominater: nature and the outdoors.
