Coal Wants Our Love

November 14, 2008 @ 07:34 By Gavin Webber 2 Comments

Not content with us being pissed off with the Coal Industry attempting to lobby our government and general public with trying to confuse and subterfuge them with lowering the expectation of the current Emissions Trading Scheme targets, that they come up with this blatant show of love. Click here if you love it more.

Obviously, like all corporations, it is without feeling and care for the common man or woman. It is more about profit and the continuous growth that is synonymous with corporations in Australia. Lets hope the public wake up soon, before I have to chain myself to a coal fired cooling tower or coal conveyor like Simon! It will not be a pretty sight, I can tell you. BTW, I love your work Si, keep it up. With a willing body I would join you join you in a flash. I just wish I was physically able to participate in such active protests as you do. At least I am with you and Kel in spirit anyway. Keep up the good work, and keep on sticking it to Big Coal for the sake of the planet!

I’m SO glad I’m in New Zealand, where we can easily choose to be 100% renewable!

Coal sucks. I know I should write something more intelligent, but let’s face it, coal sucks.
